Catch the Phish – Try out Google’s new Phishing Quiz

Do you ever receive suspicious emails from regular contacts or businesses? You might be the target of a phishing scam.

Phishing is the most common form of cyber-attack. Using deceptive techniques, cyber criminals are able to spoof emails in order to trick you into thinking they’re genuine – if you click any links within the email, hackers are able to obtain your personal information, such as your passwords and login details.

Do you think you could catch a phishing email if it entered your inbox? Test your ability with Google’s new Phishing Quiz. Developed by Jigsaw, a subsidiary of Google parent company Alphabet Inc., the quiz tests users on several forms of common phishing techniques such as using hyperlinks, infected PDF files and replicating emails from popular services such as Dropbox and Google Docs.

Try the quiz now and don’t take the bait of phishing emails!
